I liked this book so much I immediately bought the first two books in the series. The characters are unique and bizarre, yet so realistic I had no problem picturing them. I particularly liked Lucifer’s theme weeks in Hell. Max is flawed and damaged by life, but at the same time is an extremely strong heroine. Morgan challenges her and helps her to live again making him my favorite character. I am eagerly awaiting the next installment to find out what happens to them all.MauraReviewer for Coffe [...]

    • When I originally read the blurb for Smitten With Death, I expected a dark or twisted PNR. Dark and twisted is far from what I got. Try laugh out loud sarcasm, with a heavy side dose of smart mouth all served on a side of sass. Once I started reading OMG I could not stop LAUGHING!!! There were so many zingers and smarmy comments I knew not only I wanted Max as my new best friend but that I needed to get the first two books in the Max Logan series. As I mentioned earlier I missed reading the first [...]

    • I truly enjoyed the third installment of the Max Logan series. While there are serious underlying issues at stake for Maxine "Max" Logan, she handles her life the best way she knows how - with phenomenal snark. I found myself grinning and other times laughing out loud. She's a hoot but deep down she's trying to figure out her life as a widow and the stirrings of attraction for Morgan Kane. Max is a retriever and Morgan is the grim reaper. The chemistry sizzled and their quirks clashed which kept [...]

    • I really enjoyed the premise of this book. I was a little hesitant about reading a book that was already going. This is book 3 and I have to confess i have not read the others in the series. But even so i enjoyed the characters of the book and the author has made what could be a dark subject into something that is wonderful and places funny. I loved and enjoyed the relationship between Morgan the sexy Grim Reaper and Max the main heroine in the story. I will be defiantly downloading books one an [...]

Morgan can be quite the smrta** when he wants, “well, I’ve still got a few connections. If you play your cards right, maybe we can rustle you up some pasties with tassels,” he shot back. “And as pleasantly distracting as I find the idea of you prancing around in a G-string, the boat’s almost here. We need to step on it.” This was short and I loved it I loved Morgan he may have been the grim reaper but he was a sexy grim reaper.
