    • I don't think I've yet read every page of this book but I probably will some day. And I might as well write its review now, because I feel generally done with it. It's a compilation of short stories that's only requisite is that its writers feel that they are at least to some extent "from the West Coast." This provision is what allows one to be "done" without being finished or otherwise disappointed. Roots and branches is so far the best of the Zyzzyva anthologies that I have read.
