    • Emotions are monsters (and I have to agree) and take over in this really cute poem by Roman Dirge. Absolutely adorable illustrations. I reserved it thinking it was a creepy children’s book that Merrick and I could enjoy together, but when I received it, I found that it is for young adults. We read it anyway. We both really like monsters. I do wish the inside illustrations were also in color.

    • If ever there were a perfect book to help a person get through the post break-up blues, its Roman Dirge's Monsters in My Tummy. His illustrations wonderfully capture each emotion they are meant to represent and are undercut perfectly with his poetry.

    • Esiste un mio video su Youtube in cui parlo abbastanza liberamente di Roman Dirge con particolare attenzione ai suoi volumi dedicati a Lenore, ma con cenni anche a questo volume singolare. Link al video

    • Aww, man. Roman Dirge makes some great comics, but this ain't one. The art is great, well up to his standards, but it's basically a sappy love poem with emotions as organs

    • So much angst! While the book is hilarious, it's a bit too whiny for my tastes.

    • Just a fun take on the personification of emotions. Betrayal is pretty darn dead on

    • This is one of my favorite books my Roman Dirge. It's very touching, even though if it rhymes. It's a nice story to read when you're down and your heart is feeling heavy.

    • As funny and cute as this book is, I always get a little sad, thinking of past breakups and wrongs.

    • Loved this well written book about how emotions can literally break u down after a lost love Sigh Makes me think of my lost love:( Great book Fab artwork!!

    • This book is short, simple, and extremely satisfying to read. I finished it in under ten minutes, and enjoyed every moment. Take a look.
