    • Maybe it was finally time to take off his ring and look to his future rather than hold on to the past.I have really conflicted feelings about this book. First, small plot outline.Andrew is a widower. He was married for five years, his wife has been dead for three. He still wears his wedding ring. He has a seven-year-old daughter.Rachel is the co-owner of a flower shop. She hasn't dated or had sex in 16 months because the last man she had a relationship with, Eric, was still in love with his ex-w [...]

    • Rachel would love to ignore Valentine's Day completely, but as a florist it just isn't possible. At the end of the day she is having dinner in a restaurant kitchen with her friend the owner when that friend invites Andrew to sit with Rachel. Rachel recognizes him as the man who comes in to buy flowers for his wife three times a year, and is surprised to see him alone. That's when she finds out that he has been a widower for three years. After dinner they decide to go bowling and have a very good [...]

    • Loved this book! I fell in love with Andrew and Rachel, but wow Andrew from the beginning was awesome! Don't want to give anything away but the conflict in the book was handled differently than I have read in any others. The introduction of the brothers for the next two books has me very excited to read them. Again Brenda Harlen does not disappoint!

TOP PICK! "Harlen’s romance is intensely emotional and authentic. The wounded hero and wary heroine’s love story is delivered through the author’s perceptive narrative and intimate dialogue. Their lovemaking is breath-stealing, and a convincing munchkin steals the show (RT Book Reviews)". 4 1/2 stars Miniseries: Those Engaging Garretts!

    • For me it was a lovely winter time read.

    • Well, it's been a while since I read 'normal' Harlequin like this book. No kidnapping or secret baby. I liked it. Almost like I could experience it myself. Even though I was expecting a bit drama, I actually get it. I also glad that the grandma finally got set to her place and stop interfering Andrew's love life. :)Good book with good storyline, I'd definitely look up for this author's other books.

    • These Garretts are really irresistible. So far I have read 4 and I love all of them. How is that possible to have such a perfect bloodline?

    • Adorable.
