    • I like this series a lot with Cowl Girls: The Neck's Big Thing to Knit as my first book. These are great for Holiday gifts or birthdays, although I find the chosen yarn too expensive! but it is pretty easy to convert the patterns to other cheaper yarns.I only liked two of the patterns (for myself) but there were a half dozen that I will be making for friends and family. I'll revise this review as I try out the different patterns, but they seem fairly easy so this can be for beginners to intermed [...]

    • Nothing new to inspire me, as far as lace or color patterns. Some of the projects were just too silly. Like sandle toe-footie, and the full body snuggie-type blanket bag. A lot of leg warmers, and bulky yarn slippers. I wish the lace patterns were shown in a chart, not just written out. But for folks who like color patterns, there's a set of skull, a bat, two hearts patterns, and stars & stripes. Probably fine for a beginner.

    • Some of the craziest socks I've ever encountered, but the slippers are devine!

    • Most of these socks are not interesting to me. The one I do like is the sandal half-sock that is beaded.

    • For the more experiences knitter but I did like the 'three ankle socks in three ways' at the end.
